About Us:

Hi, my name is Don Allen: For 20+ years I owned and operated a commercial printing company in Ocala, Florida. During those years I worked "hands-on" daily with typesetting, design, illustration, printing by letterpress, offset, flexo, specialty foil stamping and die cutting for many of the top ad agencies.

My background experience includes the position as Art Director for a large corrugated packaging manufacturing firm based in Australia, with 25+ plants across the USA. I personally designed award winning displays for retail food sales, products for home and industry. Many items ended up on the shelves at Wal-Mart, Disney World or your local grocery store.
For 5 years was the publisher and graphics director of “Concrete Today Magazine ,” a national trade magazine for the precast and ready mix concrete industry. Besides running Pen Point Design and a successful online software firm, have worked as an instructor at the Rasmussen College Ocala campus teaching graphic design and typography.
